As an actual Marxist who has actually read Baudrillard, please don’t say he’s “indebted to Marx” or try in any other nonsensical way to connect him to us. Postmodernism and Marxism are inherently incompatible, as any student of either school of thought knows. Also, when you claim to be providing a definition of postmodernism “in his own words,” you’re not. That’s a definition of postmodernity, a different thing. Postmodernity is an era and its characteristics, postmodernism is the philosophical attitude of that era (according to Postmodernists, who again are by definition not Marxists).
